Our greatest priority is to respect the health and safety of our staff and customers.

Effective as of September 1, 2021:

In keeping with government rules, regarding Covid-19 restrictions, as we ‘return to normal,’ please read our policies.

Masks and Vaccination Status:
Masks are recommended in all indoor areas by those ages 12 years and older. Masks are not required outside in the picnic area. As the cidery is deemed an essential service, vaccination status will not be checked.

Taves Estate Cidery Guests:
Parking is free in our upper parking lot and we have several spaces reserved for those who have pre-booked tastings.  You may also park on the road. 

All staff must complete a questionnaire before each shift, ensuring they are free from Covid-19 symptoms and have not been in contact with someone who has the coronavirus. Staff are also required to wash their hands, for a minimum of 20 seconds, and to sanitize their areas frequently. 

Cidery Picnic area:
The tables in the picnic areas are wiped down by staff after guest use. A sanitization spray will be available to guests if they wish to self-clean their areas as well if they wish. A hand-wash sink with soap and paper towel is also available in the picnic area.

Food Service:
Staff in food service areas are required to frequently wash their hands and/or use gloves while preparing foods and serving guests. Communal space is sanitized regularly.

The washroom area will be cleaned and sanitized regularly as needed.

The tasting barn and outdoor family and dog-friendly picnic area are open. Tasting times can be pre-booked.

Masks are recommended inside the tasting room for those 12 years and older that are not fully vaccinated.  Social distancing protocol will remain in place.

All surfaces are regularly sanitized.
We have permanent washrooms that are regularly sanitized.
