COVID-19 Update: Please read our Covid-19 protocol. Our Tasting Barn and picnic area are open!

covid-19 policy

Our greatest priority is to respect the health and safety of our staff and customers.

Effective as of September 1, 2021:

In keeping with government rules, regarding Covid-19 restrictions, as we ‘return to normal,’ please read our policies.

Masks and Vaccination Status:
Masks are recommended in all indoor areas by those ages 12 years and older. Masks are not required outside in the picnic area. As the cidery is deemed an essential service, vaccination status will ONLY be checked IF you are doing a tasting IN OUR ROOM.  We HIGHLY recommend that you pre-book tastings in November and December as we have a very small space and limited capacity.

Taves Estate Cidery Guests:
Parking is free in our upper parking lot and we have several spaces reserved for those who have pre-booked tastings.

All staff must complete a questionnaire before each shift, ensuring they are free from Covid-19 symptoms and have not been in contact with someone who has the coronavirus. Staff are also required to wash their hands, for a minimum of 20 seconds, and to sanitize their areas frequently.

Cidery Picnic area:
The tables in the picnic areas are wiped down by staff after guest use. A sanitization spray will be available to guests if they wish to self-clean their areas as well if they wish. A hand-wash sink with soap and paper towel is also available in the picnic area.

NO washroom facilities after November 14th as we need to winterize.

The tasting barn and outdoor family and dog-friendly picnic area are open. Tasting times should be pre-booked in November-December.

Masks are recommended inside the tasting room for ALL guests, unless you are doing a tasting and have a vaccine card. Social distancing protocol will remain in place.

All surfaces are regularly sanitized.

We are continuing to offer shop online . See our hours of operation.

Please do not to come to cidery if you are ill or
have been around anyone who is ill.
