Emily from Chalkboard Art by Emily will be out at Taves Estate Cidery to lead the way on making the entrance to our homes much more cheerful and ready for the Spring Season!
No artistic experience required! We paint with exterior paint on coconut coir doormats so they are waterproof.

do we need to pre-register?
Yes, there are no drop-ins allowed.
can i choose what door mat i’m making?
You need to choose which door mat you would like at the time of registration.
do we get instructions?
Yes, it is a guided paint day with a talented teacher.
what else is there to do on the farm?
At this time it is only the tasting barn and picnic area with attached goat petting pens are all that is open.
where do we check in and how?
Come to the Taves Estate Cidery parking area located past the main driveway on your right-hand side bring an email copy of your tickets with the QR code for check in at the table outside of the red Taves Estate Cidery tasting barn.
is taves estate cidery open?
Yes, you can purchase bottles, cider flights, cocktails, as well as charcuterie boards, warm dip with toasted naan, warm pretzel bites and dip, kettle corn, churro bites, and apple salsa. Pre-order of charcuterie boards is preferred as we have a limited quantity in store.
do you have washrooms?
Yes, we have a full-service washroom with multiple men’s/women’s stalls and a handicapped stall, complete with a baby change table available onsite.
can we buy other food/drinks onsite?
Yes, we have alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available for purchase, as well as some food items.
can we bring children or babies?
No, this is an adult event, and we encourage guests to find other arrangements for their children so everyone can enjoy a quiet time.
can we bring our dog?
No, for this event we ask you to leave your pup at home so they don’t distract other guests.
