Emily from Chalkboard Art by Emily will be leading the way on making the entrance to our homes much more cheerful with spring around the corner! Get ready to paint your coconut waterproof, coir doormats!

No artistic experience is required and we have you covered with keeping your cider glass topped up all day!

Doors open at 6:15 PM and painting starts at 6:30 PM. The event ends at 8:30 PM, but the cidery picnic area and lounge are open all afternoon until 9:00 PM.

what is the date and time of the event?

Wednesday, September 11th from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM.

do we need to pre-register?

Yes, there are no drop-ins allowed.

can i choose what doormat i'm making?

You need to choose which doormat you would like at the time of registration.

do we get instructions?

Yes, it is a guided paint day with a talented teacher.

what else is there to do on the farm?

At this time it is only the tasting barn and picnic area with attached goat petting pens are all that is open.

where do we check in and how?

Come to the Taves Estate Cidery parking area located past the main driveway on your right-hand side bring an email copy of your tickets with the QR code for check in at the table outside of the red Taves Estate Cidery tasting barn.

is taves estate cidery open?

Yes, you can purchase bottles, flights, cocktails as well as crackers, cheese and meat for self-serve charcuterie platters.

do you have washrooms?

Yes, we have a full-service washroom with multiple men/women and a handicapped stall complete with a baby change table available onsite.

can we buy other food/drinks onsite?

We do have alcoholic as well as non-alcoholic drinks available for purchase as well as naan with queso, tortilla chips and dip as well as meat, cheese and crackers.
