what date is the event?

April 19th, 2025

what are the times?

Doors open at 5:45 PM and the event will finish at 8:30 PM

what if we are early or late?

Come when the doors open or shortly afterward.  We will be serving drinks immediately and have some snacks on the table.  Please do not go up to the food truck until your reserved time slot.

what age is this event for?

This is an adult only event for ages 19 and up and all guests need to bring two pieces of ID.

what is included with my ticket?

Live music, one glass of cider (alcoholic or non-alcoholic), meal from Steamworks, Easter egg hunt with prizes and access to our goat pens.

who is canuck place and how are they connected to the event?

A portion of the event proceeds are being donated to Canuck Place.  Canuck place is a non-profit organization that provides palliative care for children facing life-threatening illnesses. They offer housing, meals, education and entertainment for the whole family so they can stay together.

can we bring our dog?

No, this is a pet free event, but you are welcome to come with your children to our family Easterfest that offers dog treat passes so you and pup can collect some dog friendly goodies.

can we go into the pens with the goats?

Yes, all guests at the Easter Hunt n’ Sip are able to visit with the goats in the cidery.  Goat feed is available onsite and online.

where do we check in and how?

You will enter the parking lot in our field and come to the little red tasting barn located at 333 Gladwin road.

do you have washrooms?

Yes, we have a full service washroom with multiple mens/womens and a handicapped stall available onsite

can we buy other food/drink onsite?

We will have our bar open with hard and soft (non-alcoholic) flights and glasses available for purchase.  As well as some special Easter Cocktails and Mocktails.  All meals/food items are pre-order only.

can i get a refund if i cannot make it due to illness or any other reason?

what if it is rainy? will the event be cancelled?

Please dress for the weather as we run rain or shine.  We have tents and umbrellas set up in the yard as well as heaters, but it is an outdoor event.  The egg hunt will take place in our grassy orchard so please dress appropriately.

do we need to bring anything for the egg hunt?

Yes, please bring an easter basket as well as a flashlight as the hunt takes place at dusk.

what is the dress code?

We suggest wearing warm and comfy clothing as it is an outdoor event.  To make it more festive we are having an easter bonnet contest.  The winner will get an Easter basket with farm goodies.

is taves estate cidery open for bottle sales?

Yes, the tasting barn will be open for bottle sales all night.
