Katherine from TALLU and co. will be guiding this workshop at the farm under our tents in the picnic area. Everyone will create their own scented soy candle. The candles have a 50 hour burn life and are made from 100% organic soy. You will have a chance to choose your scent. As an added bonus everyone will also receive a scented roller with essential oils.

do we need to pre-register?

Yes, there are no drop-ins allowed.

what is included with my ticket?

This ticket is for a seat in our candle making workshop at Taves Estate Cidery. Included with your ticket is the candle making demonstration and a roller with essential oils. You will choose your own scent that evening. You will also get a flight of our regular hard or soft cider to try at the event.

do we get instructions?

Yes, it is a guided workshop.

what else is there to do on the farm?

At this time it is only the tasting barn and picnic area with attached goat petting pens are all that is open.

where do we check in and how?

Come to the Taves Estate Cidery parking area located past the main driveway on your right-hand side bring an email copy of your tickets with the QR code for check in at the table outside of the red Taves Estate Cidery tasting barn.

is taves estate cidery open?

Yes, you can purchase bottles, flights, cocktails as well as crackers, cheese and meat for self-serve charcuterie platters. We are open at 6pm – 9pm on the June 20th.

do you have washrooms?

Yes, we have a full service washroom with multiple mens/womens and a handicapped stall complete with a baby change table available onsite.

can we buy other food/drinks onsite?

We do have alcoholic as well as non-alcoholic drinks available for purchase as well as naan with queso, tortilla chips and dip as well as meat, cheese and crackers.
